Jungle party!!

We just had the jungle party tonight, it was pretty awesome. I went as a jungle fairy (cuz they exist, duh), Anna went as Dora the explorer xD Saraid got a butterfly net and stuff and went as... actually I'm not sure what she was :P And Sophie just stuffed leaves down her dress lol, which was a pretty common costume idea there. It was an inter-hall event, so I saw Polly there! Which was cool, it's like the first time I've really seen her all week lol.

Some of the chicks we went with got totally wasted, which was not so cool, and I'm not really sure what happened to them... We searched for them everywhere, but we could only find Anna, but we made sure that she got taken care of cuz she just didn't wanna leave the party and we couldn't force her.

After the party we walked back home, and me Sophie (other sophie, not flatmate sophie) and euan just sat around and bummed for a while... before realising we were all completely fucking starving, so we went on a pizza hunt... and we secured our prey!! >:D lol so we ate it in the middle of cuba street mall thing, which was pretty amazing, cuz even at 1 in the morning there's musicians and stuff, it's just such a nice atmosphere and it's pretty safe, there are walk wise people all around, who, if you ask them nicely, will walk you home.

The gay festival's on tomorrow, I might go. I also really wanna check out the Monet exhibition but I'm too broke :( fucking pizza... it was damned good though.

Am having a bit of a boy problem at the moment, but that'll sort itself out and it isn't a big deal :P lol

Otherwise everything's awesome, and it's quite late/early in the morn, so I'm gonna get me some sleep!! Nighty night. xoxoxo.

Lol that is the name of the club down the street from us, Te Puni peepz had their hall party there last night... me, Saraid and Zane went there and it was absolutely fucking empty tonight!! But as soon as we started dancing (with these guys from Stafford house) everyone else got on the dance floor so it was fucking awesome.

I'm feeling a lot happier here now, beginning to fit in a bit more. Probably should've gone partying with my flatties tonight, but they took so fucking long to go out (i'm pretty sure both of the guys have a crush on the other chick in the flat) that I just got tired and went back home. (Also had to do with the guy from Staff totally feeling up my ass and trying to get with me which I wasn't too keen on)

Got the BA orientation tomorrow which should be pretty cool. The law one was today, the dean of law is Scottish which makes him awesome :) lol. The lecture was pretty good and stuff, they actually gave us good information :P I also went to campus oaches but that was pretty fucking useless, just cuz of the other campus coach who joined us and was all like OMG OMG GUYS OMG.

Oh okay Euan just came back, he was too tired for town too :P

Yay! Update time :)

We've finally got internet connection thank god xD lol I don't know how long it's gonna last cuz I didn't put that much credit on or anything but yeah...

McKenzies is awesome, it's not flash or anything but it's pretty sweet, I'm loving my room now that I've put up a poster and got some stuff for it, like a bookshelf and a fan (yeah I dunno why either, but dad bought me one). It's not like huge, but it's not small, and there are definitely rooms here that are smaller. It's pretty sweet that we're in town, we're in walking range of everything xD

My flatmates- Lee, Euan, and Sophie- are great, (lee and Euan are guys btw), we need to make a flat shopping list cuz we need so much stuff... like a rubbish bin for the lounge D:< and a shower curtain!! Lol our bathroom door doesn't have a lock either, it was kinda awkies at first but now we're all cool with the fact that we might possibly see each other naked sometime throughout the year :P

Saraid and I just went to see Zack and Miri Make a Porno, which, despite its name, is actually a fantastic movie xD it's sooo funny, I was lol-ing the whole way through, and it was real sweet.

Got all my textbooks today, cost a fucking heap but I'm glad that's over. The jap textbook was surprisingly the most expensive of them all Oo the Jap info and culture place (which might actually be part of the embassy?) is playing Japanese films for free on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I might go check that out later... Haven't actually met anyone else who's gonna study Japanese so yeah...

We have our campus coaches thing tomorrow, I'm quite excited about that, cuz I finally get to meet people doing the same kinda courses as me!! Lol most of the people in McKenzies is doing architecture or a BA in like art history or something like that.

What else to say... Haven't really been doing much, my parents came to drop off my extra bags and stuff, and I have to say that I'm missing them a LOT. The room and the people here are great, but I miss you all so much :( But the term is only 6 weeks long so I may see you guys then... who knows...

Ok, I'm totally exhausted, I'm gonna go read the paper then head straight to sleep for another early start. Peace ouuuuut.
