Drunken hussies

It was my friend Laura's 18th birthday today!! It was an interesting night, to describe it mildly. We were gonna have some drinks at her place and then go to town, but I don't think anyone actually ended up going to town in the end, everyone was pretty fucked by the end of the night.

Chrispy's friend Helen came to the party, and she kinda fucked everything up, cuz she got wasted and hit on all of the guys, and all of the guys were just like REOWR HELEN REOWR, so now Chrispy's two male flatmates are like fighting over her, and both of my flatmates were like bowchickawowow HELEN! Lee was telling me how absolutely hot she was and Euan kept texting me while I was at maccas asking if she was with us :P So yeah, Chrispy's really shitty with her cuz she's just fucked things up for her flat, cuz the guys were complete besties and now they're fighting.

Laura... Laura was fucked. She's downstairs now lying in bed while her boyfriend watches youtube vids and Saraid and some guy argue over the use of violence in today's society and Chrispy's just sitting there kinda blankly. I was there but I decided it would be more fun to blog :P and tell everyone of tonight's activities lol.

Um... my night... was...well, strange.

Started off good. Ended... kinda weird.

Oh ok Chrispy and Euan just came into my room for a 'girl chat' and now we're gonna go watch the mighty boosh so I'll give a more detailed update later, but basically had my first kiss with boy I like :) but he was really drunk so I told him to fuck off :P

Um... actually I have no idea what to write for a detailed update lol. There wasn't really that much more I can say... Chrispy's totally ignoring Helen now cuz she's just so pissed off at her, we don't know where Helen ended up last night after she started skank dancing with like the 6th guy at the Big K, cuz that was where Chrispy left her, and she wouldn't let Helen stay with her.

Everyone's really shitty with Lee cuz he's kinda a creep... Like, he keeps hitting on all the chicks and he always sounds like such a dick. I know he means well, like he's not actually a bastard, but he just really wants a lady friend I think, and he's just going bout it the wrong way. He's pissed off all my friends, and now they're really wary about coming into the flat cuz they don't wanna see him.

We just went in to see Laura, and she was awake, amazingly enough, and aware of her surroundings, which was even more amazing. We didn't really expect her to be that alive today, but she was able to have full conversations! She just had to go throw up at the end, that's all lol n.nuu but otherwise she wasn't hungover.

I think we're going for a walk to the waterfront later, and I think we're just gonna go chill there, I don't really know. 

Anna I got your letter!! omg it's sooo cute, I got a lot of fuzzies :3 I was so happy, felt so loved :D I haven't finished reading it yet, but I am definitely gonna write you a letter back :) as soon as I can afford paper, envelopes and stamps lol cuz I blew my money for this week on clothes Xx but I needed a new dress!  And I really wanted a skirt :( (and the rest of the money went on booze lol)

I don't really know what's happening with boy. Cuz he's at some sustainability lecture, but that should have finished by now but he hasn't texted me or anything since lastnight/early morning... and I don't really know what's going on, but it's such a nice day, I really don't care lol.

Laura's room was a complete mess this morning, there was still so much bubble wrap everywhere (they had 30$ worth of bubble wrap xD), I vaguely remember being wrapped up last night lol.

ustay is dynamite

As most of you probably already know, we had a few problems with our flat a couple of weeks ago- there was a leak in our roof that pooled up in our lounge light, and finally one day it just pretty much exploded, and the light fell off and we had a huge torrent of water (shower water from upstairs... yumyum) that soaked through our carpet and created this godawful smell throughout the whole place.

Anyway, we told the ustay reception, and they sent up a the cleaners with a vacuum (?!?) so we were kinda shitty. And this guy from Salient (the student magazine here) came and did an interview with us so we told him about the leak and stuff, and the next week we had an article all about our flat in the mag, and he kinda exaggerated some stuff but yeah... it dissed Ustay pretty much.

So, surprise surprise, the next day we found four letters in our apartment asking us to come meet the directors for ustay.

Just came back from that meeting and it was such an anti-climax Xx everyone was so amped about going in there, just so full of nervous energy and sophie was totally freaking out, and then it wasn't a big deal or anything, we just talked it all through and yeah... We all thought we were going to get kicked out or something, but the really nervous lady just talked and sophie talked and the rest of us tried not to laugh at the nervous lady.

Pfft.

Such a waste of time...

Oh and I might be getting another tattoo on the back of my neck, but I'm not sure. Either that or I'll pierce my nose again.

I visited Ashwyn's apartment on Friday [dunz's cousin if you don't remember] and it's soooo nice xD god I want an apartment like that! It's just so pretty and it's two storeyed!! xD It's only got two bedrooms, but that's ok lol it was just that lovely :3

We had some wine at his place then his friend came over (still don't remember his name... but I'm pretty sure it started with M. He was studying nursing at Massey xD ) and then we went to town... I was just gonna head home when they went clubbing cuz I was tired, but then in the end gave in and went to The Establishment and Maya with them and it was actually pretty damn awesome xD Waaaaay more fun than I expected!! We met up with his other friends, an asian couple and this other guy whose name I also don't remember :P

Saturday was spent... well, sleeping. I started on my politics essay, but it's just so hard D: and the books I have to go through on Japanese politics and history are so thick TT^TT and I only have them out for three days!! warghhhhhhh D: So that's what I'm gonna have to do today... get through all those damn books and finish that goddamn essay cuz I only have a week and I'm kinda freaking out.

Last night we went to Vic House after a couple of drinks at home (and by a couple, I meant that I had just one and watched everyone else drink cuz I'm too poor to afford booze :P but it was a white Russian so it was all good....). Vic house was a lot different than I expected, everyone there dissed McKenzies D:< but their rooms are smaller and it's colder up there :S and their RAs are pretty strict... at 10pm they actually came around to each door and told us to shut up and their security guard wanders the halls... Our security guard just sits downstairs and reads the paper.

We just bummed up there for a while, and we were forced to sit through a showing of the game Portal, which... sucks. The graphics were great, yeah, and the concept was mind boggling, but... I'm just not into games lol. There are twins at Vic house xD a girl and a guy, and they're such drunk hussies xD they were sooo funny lol and completely fucked. They were chugging down red wine on the roof of the hostel x3

Since the party kinda ended at 10pm (so...early...) we just bummed in the green one's room, but then Chrispy and I got kinda hungry so we ditched and went to Maccas instead bahahahaha xD

Lol oh and at Vic house there's this guy who goes around fondling everyone. His name's big willie :P cuz he's called William and very tall apparently... but yeah I got taken by surprise from behind at one point and he just stood there like hugging me from behind with his hands pretty damn low on my hips for ages. I was a little bit like wtf but everyone was like you got off lightly, he's normally a lot worse :P apparently he had promised the green one not to touch me or Chrispy but he gave in to temptation... I didn't actually see him stand unattached to anyone all evening lol.

Today is Sunday!! One more day of freedom xD lol... and I missed Church Xx well, ok, I didn't miss it, I had my alarm set and I woke up and everything but then I just kinda... went back to sleep Xx I knoooow I shoulda gone to the 8am service but I was just too lazy D: and now I feel kinda bad :S

Rawr it's like 11:30... which means LUNCH TIME!! :D

Sophie's gone away for the weekend again Xx well, she actually went away on Thursday night, and she was at her boyfriend's on Wednesday night anyway. I never see her :S it's like it's just me and the guys living here, cuz I honestly only see her once every three days or so, and even then it's only brief and usually she's bitching about her english assignments. She says that she's going to be here more often once she's handed everything in, but I reckon it's gonna be kinda weird with her around again, I've sorta forgotten what she's like now :S

Ok, I don't think I have anything else to say in this update... I really should talk more about my classes, i know, but there's really not that much to talk about n.nuu

Oh I got my hair cut, and I actually really like it! Lol it's so weird having it this short at the back, but everyone who has bothered to comment has liked it xD so it musn't be completely horrible lol. It's incredibly easy to maintain at least xDu and it was only 20$!! And the guy who cut my hair is Korean and he was talking about the Japanese occupation of Korea and stuff and it's exactly what we're studying in pols at the moment so I was like yes! Learning while getting hair cut, score xD

Ok, really should go... do something now. I miss my pj pants D: I spilt a can of tuna down them and so they're in the wash basket but I haven't had time to do my laundry yet... so I'm wearing my trackies to bed Oo not the same... just not the same...

Was tempted to call this update 2 but I'm not that immature... or am I? Hmmm...

I'm trying to update this blog every week Xx but it's so hard to actually find anything to talk about... I'm really not doing that much lol.

It was St Patrick's Day yday, and typically I forgot until I got up to uni and saw all these people wearing green and trying to imitate the Irish accent... was so pissed that I forgot to wear green D: not that I have a lot of green clothes but oh well... We didn't really celebrate it, I was gonna go out with a couple of mates and, well, drink lol cuz it's the Irish thing to do :P but hmm... wasn't really in the mood. I went to Chrispy's apartment and had a beer and a bit of wine with her, met her friends and stuff. There were quite a few people there, and they had a strobe light xD it was awesome!! But just wasn't really in the mood so I left at about 9/10pm ish, and went to Maccas with Lee instead :P

Um what else have I been getting up to? Uummm... oh on Friday we went to St George and played Circle of Death there, their version of the game was so much more hardcore and intense than the one we played at Sorcha's- everyone got drunk a lot more quickly :P cuz you couldn't say anyone's name, you couldn't say drink (you had to say consume) and you couldn't point, so it would always end up with someone saying someone's name/pointing/saying the 'd' word and you'd be like AHAHAHA [insert name here] YOU SAID DRINK! whilst pointing at them, and then you'd have to drink three times. It was a cruel and vicious cycle.

They also have this thing called boxhead, where if you got a five then you'd have to wear a box over your head until someone else got a five and drink every time someone else did xD Saraid had it for a couple of turns and got completely wasted lol.

I can't say I really remember much of that night, but I managed to lose my bag which had my wallet, my phone and most importantly, my key in it, so I had to climb through a window to get into my room (harder than it sounds... trust me...). The pics are on facebook :P

And then I met Tunan the next day and she made me breakfast <3 yeeeeyy lol :3

Um... Other than that I've really just been doing work and sleeping n.nuu

Ah... Sophie took our tv away :( she gave it to her brother... so now the boys have no guitar hero to play so they're quite sad... I think I'm gonna bring my tv up cuz it's just weird having no tv in the lounge Xx

Hmm. Is that it? I think it is... Aw that's so sad, surely there must be at least one other thing to talk about... but I don't think there is :S I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow, and I think that's the highlight of my week :P lol

No news on the boy front. Fucking boys. KILL THEM ALL! (except for my flatmates lol, they're lovely. They dared me to drink a litre of milk, and I tried... but I failed with about 50mL to go, but when I got home the next day I found a dollar coin and a lollipop slipped under the door from Euan for drinking most of the milk x3)

Update

Everything's going pretty well, I have my first test tomorrow D: It's for Japanese, and it makes up 1% of my final mark Oo So uh yeah... have to study for that 1% Xx

My flatmate might be moving out... She's finding it quite hard to study here, cuz the guys play music and guitar hero a lot or something... The thing is that she studies quite late at night when everyone else is done with their study and wants to watch tv etc., but it's then that she starts her reading. (I'm not really sure why she doesn't do her readings on the 2 days she has off but whatever...) So I'm gonna be really gutted if she leaves, cuz if she does then it'll just be me and the guys, which is cool but I really do want a chick around :S guys just aren't as clean... (Ok, Euan's probably cleaner than I am, whatever. He doesn't have a woman's touch around the place.)

Other than that, life's going pretty good. We went out for margaritas last night to celebrate... huh... what were we celebrating... oh um Saraid moving out- she moved from third to fourth floor to get away from all the noise and cuz the fourth floor is the non drinking floor, and to get away from Zane :P Cuz he keeps playing his music really loudly and keeps waking her up at all times of the night randomly.

The margaritas were amazing... Saraid got quite drunk off just one :P she was sitting there trying to set the candle on fire with her magic xD We then wandered down Cuba and got kebabs, but then it started to rain so we all went back home.

There's a party tomorrow night- the nameless green one's sister's birthday party at Bodega Underground. He invited me, and I invited... pretty much everyone I knew xD Chrispy scolded me, but I'm pretty sure it's all sweet lol.

Oh and I'm flying back to Dunedin on the 12th, and then back to Welly on the 20th, sorry I'm not staying for long but I think Anna's flying up on the 21st...? So I should probably be back for that.

Wargh I miss everyone so much... I mean, I'm loving everything here, even the flat and my dying flowers D:< (WHY DO THEY KEEP DYING? I'm watering them damnit D:)

I really should try to do some reading then go to bed... my first lecture is at noon tomorrow thank god xD but then I only have an hour before Jap tute and I got heaps of work to do for that D: Why can't it be like my law tute which only lasted for 15 mins??? (and omg our tutor for law is so fucking hot)

Lectures and sickness

First day of lectures today. And typically, I've got a cold. Or something. I don't know, but I feel like crap, and I have a feeling I'm going to throw up again. Dinner definitely did not help... or maybe it's because I've overdosed on easy mac? I don't know...

Otherwise today was good. Lectures were alright, comparative politics looks soooo interesting :3 though hard... Our assignments look evil, and I'm kinda stressing about them already :S Law was alright, I think I'm gonna like it tbh. It looks like something I'm gonna enjoy. The class is fucking massive though.

We're gonna go out soon, in like half an hour, go get a couple of drinks at the bar. I don't think I'll drink, and I'll probably head back to the apartment early, cuz I just feel like shit. But socialising is good. And I think the walk and fresh air will help, I've been cooped up for too long D:

More early morning lectures tomorrow. Rawr.

We got a couch for the flat!! For 10.50$!! And there are two couches!! Ok, so we have to carry them for Ira Valley (I think..) but still!! Worth it.

Boys are stupid. I don't like them anymore. Grr.

Really need a power nap before we head out. Am gonna go do that now... oh and ohmigawsh, guitar hero is so fucking addictive, I seriously spent all day playing it D: I'm gonna fail uni!! And all because I was making my way up to expert level D:<
