Sausages

You have to wonder how a guy gets a nickname like sausages. Hmm... Sausages is sitting in our living room right now, he and Lee are talking comp sci :S it's like an entirely new language. Me and Soph are doing our work whilst Shortie street is in the background ... who the fuck plans that show?? It's insane, I cannot believe people watch it Xx though Lee explained the entire current plot to me :P i was like wtf and he was like "my mum and sister watch it!! fuck off!!" i was like LOL since he had just explained what had happened on Home and Away as well xD

Oh yeah I cut my hair again to get rid of all the remaining blonde bits, it's like the shortest I've ever had my hair. But it's completely my natural hair colour! It's so much darker than I thought it was.

Gah I missed all of my classes except for my law tute today, I'm so freaking useless. I was meant to have four classes today, and I was meant to get the script from my drama group and instead I just slept. I didn't even see the Welshman off at the airport or say goodbye to him at Nomadz. Not that I'm particularly sad about that, but it would've been nice for me to have done that, but I'm just so useless at the moment.

"Is his mum like... still alive?" that shouldn't be funny, but it just came out so weird sounding xDuu

We get our marks back for law this week. Not freaked out. Not freaked at all. OMGOMGOMGOMG.

Oh we had our second enquirer's meeting (and I wasn't the only one there this time!! :D ) and it was so good. We talked about being a progressive Christian and what it means, and we're all reading this book at the moment for the meeting- Heart of Christianity, and it's fantastic. Like... it pretty much encompasses everything I feel about Christianity. I love our church :D

I'm so jealous, everybody here has been to gigs and stuff, like they're all used to concerts and shit.

It's so weird, I actually hang out with Lee more than anybody else, just cuz we just sit on the couch and watch tv, and if I have to go anywhere he just goes with me. Euan's pretty much moved out, we saw him today though! He came in to tell us about how badly he was failing architecture. He had a project due in on Friday (last week) and he still hasn't started it Oo I don't know how he can just be like bleh towards work. I mean, I'm pretty slack on attendance, but I always catch up on notes and shit, but he like doesn't go AND doesn't catch up.

Hmm typing is getting harder. I think it's because my fingers are numb Oo cuz this place has no insulation at all... oh well could defs be worse.

I was meant to be at the backpackers like ... an hour and a half ago Oou But I so can't be bothered going D: it's cold, and I just really wanna curl up on the couch and watch movies with a blanket and hot chocolate (even though we still don't have milk...) D: but nooooo I said I'd go out cuz I'm an IDIOT.

A girl got taken to hospital during our pols class today, she dislocated her knee or something, when me and Chrispy got there she was lying on the ground and stuff. Possibly the most exciting thing that's happened for weeks Xx

I'd love to be a housewife. Lol sorry, random, but I was just thinking about how I needed to clean the flat this weekend xDu but man I'd just love to be a stay at home mum- we were talking about this the other day, about how someone's friend (I swear to god my memory's getting worse Oo) ditched college and got preggers (or was it the other way around? ) then started her own business or something and now she's a stay at home mum cuz she's rich enough. And I was like zomg jealous D:<

I know, it's silly, I mean you think about how women were oppressed for so many years and now that we have the right to go to university and shite I'd really just rather stay home, do the odd bit of work and just take care of the house. Cook dinner and things like that. Clean the bathroom, even. (I really like cleaning the shower, as I discovered the other day xD) I'm so tempted to do what my sister did when she went to England, just get preggers and then call home and tell them months before she returned so that they couldn't take it out on her and had time to settle before she came back home. So Wellington's not as far away as England, but still...

Not that I'd do that, cuz law is AMAZING, but yknow, it was just a random thought :P why am I even typing this on here? Lol I think it's cuz I've had a bit of G&T already... sorry guys!!

And omg I'm soooooooooo jealous of Dunz getting to take care of that bebe all day.... D: warghhhh it's so stupid, but I'm so over the boozing and everything, I'm a granny, I can't help it TT^TT Yes, I prefer staying in and watching movies and knitting rather than drinking and prowling, I can't help it! Lol :P

Oh god i've got to get off this thing and get ready for town TT^TT at least Soph's coming with me to the backpackers, I didn't really wanna go alone... I mean, I like the Welshman and everything, but I'm not really that attracted to him... he's just so... perfect. Like... the ideal man kind of thing- funny, polite and sweet and he enjoys spooning for god's sake, but... well, ew. No no I'm being to judgemental, and who knows how long he'll stay in NZ for, so I gotta be nice! Even if I don't really wanna make out with him...

Cape Palliser

We went on a bit of a roadtrip today to Cape Palliser on the coast of Wellington, like an hour's drive out?ish.

Omg it was so beautiful, and we saw sea lions!!! :D :D :D there were so many! and so close!! Sasuke (I don't actually know how to spell her name but that's what it sounds like) kinda got attacked by one xD she got too close and it like leapt at her, it was kinda funny :P

We watched the sunset from the picnic area and before that we went on a little walk on the streambed track through somethingorother pinnacles, it was a place where they shot part of LotR <3 It was beautiful... but like there was this patch of what I thought was rock that I was standing on and then I realised I was sinking... turns out it was really gross stuff, we don't know what it was (probably mud but it just looked so much like rock!) and we took heaps of pics with us with our feet in it lol so they'll probs go up on facebook soon :D

Oh right should probably say who went :P um it was me (duh), Tom (the Welshman), Amy, Anna and Sasuke (I really should find out her proper name...) oh wait found her on facebook now, it's Saskia (I just heard Sasuke apparently Oo). Heheh Anna works at Mermaids, which is the strip joint in town xD I'm pretty sure she used to be a go go dancer but now she's a barmaid or something xD bahahahaha

Ah it was such a gorgeous night, and you could see the stars so clearly <3 And then we almost crashed :P the smell of burning rubber was so strong, and like god we were so close to hitting that other car and Anna and Saskia just slept straight through it xD we were like wtf Oo it was all good though, we missed them by millimetres, I swear to God.

Oh I got my nose repierced, the guy did it with just his hands (have I already blogged about this? I remember writing this... hmm... well, I'll talk about it again :P ). He massaged the nostril then pierced the nose from the inside out with just a wire, it was fantastic!! :D didn't hurt like at all!! ah fantastic stuff...

Avoidance

This is purely for the sake of avoiding my essay. I have 50 words left, and I STILL haven't started writing about China. OMG. arghhhhhhhhhh This essay was meant to be a comparison of the two countries but it's really just me talking about Japan and its economic development, China's got like one sentence in the whole essay so far.

Um other than that... Hmmmm wow avoidance is harder than I thought it would be. Nothing's really happening here, I went out on Wednesday with my wee Welshman :P (who's half Swedish and not actually mine at all lol). But I was a good girl (bahahaha) and came home nice and early and sober (!!) so that I could get to class the next morning. See, I'm improving :P I'm actually beginning to plan ahead now lol.

Ok just had a quick dinner break. Was possibly the strangest dinner I've ever been to... it was a disco dinner Oo with disco balls and them light things that make everything white and neon light up, and there were those weird glow in the dark stuffs.

Omg a first year students survey... YAY! :D more avoidance! lol I really should get started on China... got invited to go out drinking tonight by the Welshman.... rawr. Part of me is like OMG YES NO MORE ESSAY WORK! but I know that if I go out I'll just drink and that is SO not good right now. Must stay in and work, must stay in and work...

God it's so hard to work.

People are skateboarding in the atrium and Soph's chatting on the phone in the lounge and people are running up and down those goddamn stairs (someone please explain to me what's so freakin fun about that??) and it's so hard to concentrate D: and Chrispy's not here to read over my essay to tell me what's wrong with it D: I have no idea where I'm going with this essay...

Looooool apparently our law professor G-Mo is having an affair with one of the second year students, the really really hot chick who was like top in the year who gave us the 'student perspective' talks for law at the beginning of the year.

Sorry, just had to share that :P

I mean, when she gave the talks we were like bahaha they're so sleeping together, look at them chuckling over their little inside jokes, bahahaha, but then we just found out that she's one of his research assistants and apparently she turns up in extremely skanky outfits :P and he took her out to see a play just a couple of days after his wife gave birth, and there was something about her having a different office to the other research assistants or something... oh G-Mo, you sly dog.

Lol. Ah just... lol. She IS extremely hot though, and he's attractive so I can't say I blame either one :P hope the rumours are true... lol xD

LOLs all around

I saw Dylan Moran last night~ hehehe xD I LOVE HIM :D :D :D ah... he was so funny, I was lol-ing the whole way through even though I was so hungover I couldn't even eat. The guy sitting next to me was kinda retarded, he was laughing so insanely throughout the whole thing, actually rocking in his chair and shit, it was so fucking annoying >> and even his gf told him to shut up cuz he was laughing that loudly and creepily. And before the show and during the intermission and stuff he kept making supposedly witty remarks which were just plain stupid D:<>

On Sat night we were originally just gonna party it up at mck, but I got kinda bored so I went and joined Ashwyn at the backpackers where it was some guy's birthday, and since I was already kinda drunk I didn't feel awkies randomly joining in on somebody's bday at all lol :P everyone there was amazingly nice :D matthias was there too (I'm pretty sure that's not actually his name, but that's what I'm going to call him goddamnit Xx), so it was good seeing him again.

Then we went out to town, and there are some vague recollections from clubbing, like someone buying me a jager bomb and me thinking that was a fantastic idea, and then somehow it ended up with me and Tom (really really tall Welsh backpacker) making out on my couch, and now I've got his jacket and his number and I'm not really sure what to do with either Oo actually no, that's a lie, I'm totally keeping this jacket if I can, it's so nice and warm xD lol

And then Sunday... well... it was horrible. I've never been that hungover... EVER... even the night after St George was lovely compared to that, I didn't stop throwing up until around 5pm, and even then I still couldn't manage to eat anything...

Eurgh. Hangovers. Eurgh.

I still don't know when I'm coming back to Dunedin because we don't know when our Jap exam is Oo so as soon as I find that out I'm gonna book my flights... though I don't think I'll be spending that long in Dunedin cuz mum and dad want to come up to Wellington to hang with me and to check out a couple of apartments and shtuff. I hope I get to spend at least more than just a week back home though, cuz it sucks being away for so long :(

Oh oh oh oh we have a tv now :D (again, except this time it's not gonna be taken away xD) and it has actual tv this time!!! so we can watch the news etc :D i'm so happy :D

Lol it has sucked so bad not having any tv for so long... I barely coped, I tell you. Resorted to getting out box sets of tv dramas and watching them in one go on my laptop ;P

Umhumhum I passed my law test!! and my pols essay :D not fantastic marks, but I passed, so I'm sooooo stoked :D heaps of people failed the law test, you should've seen how many Es there were Xx overall I think maybe 38% of our year failed? Someone said 42% but I'm pretty sure the lecturer said it was somewhere in the 30s... well at any rate, it was a high failure percentage Xx sooo glad I passed xD

Handed in my law essay yesterday, arghhh D: pretty sure I failed it... it had a 1000 word restriction cuz they're all evil bastards... I  never realised how hard it was to write a short essay Xx my word count was 999 by the end, and I didn't even touch on what I wanted to say :( it's so hard keeping it short when one of the criteria is that you have to define all of your terms! ebil I tell you, EBIL D:<
